On behalf of all the Brethren, our Right Worshipful Master, James Mitchell welcomes you to the website of Dumbarton Kilwinning No.18 on the roll of The Grand Lodge of Scotland - one of Scotland's oldest and most distinguished Masonic lodges.
The website has been again been redesigned using the latest techniques to blend a very old and historical establishment with the modern technology of the Internet to ensure it is responsive to the wide range of devices available to ensure you have an enjoyable experience when you visit, and taking into consideration the fantastic work done by Bro. Jim Davies retains his styling.
Our aim is to keep members and visitors alike up to date with masonic events as well as our social/charity events.
This site will give non-members an opportunity to see what we do for our local community. It will also provide further information should you wish to join our ancient and honourable fraternity.
Having been in possession of a charter from Mother Kilwinning Lodge No.0 since 1726 and later a Grand Lodge of Scotland charter our lodge was 290 years old on the 6th January 2016. Along with being one of the oldest lodges in Scotland , we are also credited with the first ever “minuted” 3rd degree.
